Christians, which is more important, love or rules? Should we change how we treat our non Christian y/a peers?
Q. Hello fellow yahoo answers Christians (and others:). I know that we are all trying to do our best to live in a that is pleasing to God but are some of us too legalistic? My absolute favorite y/a user (Jon M this side up) is always saying love is supreme, if you love you love God, the key to heaven is opened with love, etc lol. And in a way you want to say but no, there is so much more you need to do, but is there? My pastor preached the parable of the good Samaritan this Sunday and warned against favoring rules over love. This parable is so powerful because the one who Jesus said was doing his will was not one who belonged to the Jewish faith but a Samaritan, hated by the Jews and were not following the 'true' religion of the times. A. my foundation is christ from his teachings in the bible i learned unconditional love, unconditional forgiveness and the heart of a servant i learned to crucify the flesh((to live in the spirit)) from the teachings of buddha i learned the importance of not allowing desire i learned to take my prayer life to another level through meditation from the way of tao((literally meaning "the way")) ive learned the importance of non action ive learned the importance of reverence((instead of just tolerance)) according to christian "rules" i should only learn from the bible and whats taught in church i wouldnt be the woman of god i am today if it werent for those precious other souls, from other faiths who loved and respected me… [cont.]

When a man says "I love you"?
Q. This question is particularly for the males but Idk who answers. Ok, when a guy says he loves a girl, what is he really saying? Now, say he tells her he loves her and wants to be with her but shows her no compassion {even after she's told him she needs that a thousand times} or doesn't call or show any support or concern, or give her what she may be needing at the time. {I'm not talkin bout money lol} What could this mean? Maybe that he needs help in that area?? Or maybe he doesn't love her at all?? Guys... I need ta know what you mean!!!
