Q. This is long so please bare with me: Okay a little back story. I was working at my uncle's internship for about 6 weeks during this summer. While there, I lived with my uncle and his son who is my best friend. Well, his girlfriend had a friend that was (like me) single and had never dated anyone. So they decided to introduce us at a dance in hopes we could double date with them if we got along. Well, on the third date me and her realized that we had a scary amount of things in common. But he recently went out of town, to have a sexual escapade with a woman he met while she was visiting his home town. Men view LOVE as love and SEX as sex they are not in any way the same thing.From a woman's stand point he is so wrong its outrageous, hes a horn dog tried and true,but from a mans point of view maybe not so far out.Was he wrong oh yea and he knows it,what you didn't say is how she took the news and how she took the truth?As for you it was some thing he did and really has nothing to do with you so you should stay out of it,its nice you care but they need to work on this.Hope it works out for the best.If she takes him back I bet he thinks twice before he cheats again.

A. Of course love at first sight is possible. But I would say that there is a thin line between love and lust. In most cases I think people who "fall in love at first sight" are just in lust and grow to love each other. Although, I do fully beleive in love at first site. I'm sure your boyfriend meant it when he said he loved you, but he was addicted and therefore "loved" his drugs more. Depending on the mental illness, you could also have the same scenario where the person is not well enough to be able to show you love.
