What's the difference between a "first love" and "first crush"?
Q.
Asked by - Tue Apr 5 06:56:17 2011 - Singles & Dating - 2 Answers - Comments
A. Crush is a cute thing, it's more on physical attraction. Love is a beautiful thing, it's more on knowing, accepting, and helping. The word 'first' gives the spark. :)

Ramadan: What's the difference between "Love" and a "Crush"?
Q. Thanks :] Just wondering -_- Assalamu Alaykum @Abdul-Malik - Your very very weird.
Asked by - Wed Sep 15 21:59:35 2010 - Ramadan - 12 Answers - Comments
A. Love is someone you would literally die for. Lie for. Do anything for. Take care of them through any troubles, and stick with them when times are tough. A Crush is someone who you just like. You most likely would never die for them. You'd lie to them to make yourself appear "better". You wouldn't stick with them through tough times, and they most likely wouldn't stick with you either.

Did I develop a "crush" on my girlfriend? Love?
Q. I'm 23. My girl and I have known each other for about 18 months. I didn't want a girlfriend when I first met her, so we both agreed not to classify each other anything, but began spending time together weekly because we enjoyed each other's company. This enjoyment of spending time together grew into something more, and we decided to be exclusive about twelve months ago. Naturally we'd spend even more time together and I know her pretty well now. It wasn't until six months ago however (about a year after we first met each other) that I've developed what feels like a crush on this girl. I can't stop thinking about her. Seeing her sends butterflies in my stomach every time. It feels just like a crush. This scares me. I've had crushes (you… [cont.]

What is the difference b/w "LOVE" and "CRUSH"???
Q. We say that we have crush on somebody and we say we love someone.. Wht actually it means in terms of "LOVE " & "CRUSH"?? what is the boder line b/w both??
Asked by Kiven - Fri Nov 17 00:56:58 2006 - Singles & Dating - 35 Answers - Comments
A. I love my boyfriend. We've been together for over three years, and we have our arguments, but we always respect each other. I have a crush on one of my former co-workers. He's attractive, and I could see myself having a physical relationship with him, but we aren't compatible personality wise. In other words, it wouldn't last very long. So, I get all flushed and flustered when my crush is around, but I feel happy, secure, and unconditionally loved and appreciated by my boyfriend. Crushes are surface level. Love is much deeper.

How to build a better relationship with your "crush"?
Q. There's this girl that I kind of know, and I guess I have a "crush" on her. We don't know each other well, and we sit next to each other in English. Something I've noticed is that she stares at me sometimes, and I can see her doing that out of my peripheral vision. She is single, of course, and I'm not exactly sure how to talk to her without sounding nervous. I can talk to anyone else normally, but with her it would be pretty abnormal. Any tips?
Asked by - Fri Apr 27 18:24:46 2012 - Singles & Dating - 1 Answers - Comments
A. The better relationship is going to come when you know her better and talking more is the first step to do that. Figure out something you have in common or perhaps something she likes and start your conversation that way. Show her some extra attention and see how that goes. Once you start to get together more then perhaps you want to take the next step and see if she wants to go out some time or at the least get her number.

Women - is it right to love the feeling of things slowly going "crush" under my feet?
Q. Is there any other women out there that like this feeling? Whats you're story?
Asked by Me - Wed Jul 19 16:05:45 2006 - Tattoos - 4 Answers - Comments
A. Ok. It honestly looks like no one else is going to be brave enough to admit it... yes. Crushing crunchy bugs under my feet is uniquely satisfying. Large beetles and large spiders are the best. HOWEVER. I always feel really guilty about it if I'm outside. If the critters are outside, I usually let them go. Come in my house, though... well, you're going to meet your maker.

Is it ok to "have a crush" on someone if you're in love with another?
Q. My girlfriend and I have been going out for a year+. She says she loves me, we even talked about marriage a few times (but have too much going on at the moment). Today she told me she's had a crush on someone else for a week or so. She says she won't leave me for him because she says she loves me and its "just a crush". But I still felt really hurt. Am I overreacting? Is it perfectly normal for someone "in love" to have a crush on someone else? Or is she in the wrong?
Asked by punk4emo - Mon Apr 24 21:42:33 2006 - Other - Family & Relationships - 3 Answers - Comments
A. She obviously has strong feelings for you but if she says she loves you, you should be the only one in her eyes, no one else. It doesn't matter if it is only a crush. It's not right. Commitment is a big part of love. You cant say you love someone and have a crush on someone else. You have a right to feel hurt. I think she would be hurt if she was in you place right now. It makes you feel insecure. Just talk to her and tell her how it really makes you feel cuz holding back wont solve anything.

Can autistic kids have a "crush" on someone, or fall in love?
Q. I'm fifteen years old, and I'm volunteering at my church for our vacation bible school. I'm helping out with the crafts, and there's this boy who is a year younger than me, and he's autistic. He kept standing near me, and he looked like he wanted to talk to me, but was shy. And later on, he came up to me, and he showed me his project. He had two fish stickers on it, and he drew hair on one, and I think he told me that that was supposed to be me, and the other fish was him. His actions gave me the impression that he has a crush on me. So, I was just wondering if autistic kids, or teenagers fall in love, or if they like, or have a crush on people. A. Of course people with Autism can have crushes on people and even fall in love. They are humans, and humans have an innate desire for love. Please be aware that he may not be able to handle his emotions the way you do (i.e., controlling his anger or frustration) so I think you shouldn't acknowledge a relationship or confront him about his crush unless he bluntly confronts you about it. Considering Autism is a developmental disorder that affects communication and social interaction, you should praise him for even speaking to you without someone prompting him to do so. Talking with him really truly help his social skills and communication skills. He seems to feel comfortable with you, and maybe you don't feel comfortable with him so try and… [cont.]

A. i ve been in this situation before (and still am) there isn't much you can do. he dating another girl. you could tell him, but that would make him feel weird around you (trust me on this, it's not a good idea.) you can only be happy for him that he has someone.

Q. There is this guy that i have honestly had a crush on since i was 16 (i am 23 now). But we've never dated or anything because hes always been in serious relationships and plus we rarely saw each other. Now he is moving to my hometown for grad school and i will be forced to see him! Whenever i am with him i always develop strong feelings, what should i do? I really just want to find someone to make him jealous btw hes currently been dating some girl for a year now
