Disinfecting leather couch? Lysol spray okay to use?
Q. My Hubby had the chills last night and didn't feel well. He slept on our couch. Can I spray it down today with Lysol to kill any sick bugs on it?

A. lysol shouldn't harm it. I use it myself, just spray a small out of sight area first (and let it dry completely) to make sure it won't discolor the leather. Alcohol based wipes also work well. just make sure its not an amonia based or peroxide based wipe

Q. My little girl opened a compartment in out attic wall, and a rat jumped out. It ran downstairs and I heard a scream from my wife. So I picked up a broom, and ran downstairs and it was on the table. It jumped, glided, and landed on my new leather sofa that we just got last week, looked at my wife, and hissed at her with it's legs spaces out. It then defecated on out new leather sofa. So I told my wife and kids to go upstairs and took the broom and hit at it. It jumped back and forth scratching up my leather sofa, leaving holes in it, and finally ran in the kitchen, and began eating out of a cereal box.
